International Symposium
Hosei University Research Center for Edo-Tokyo Studies (EToS) which was established on 17th January 2018 will hold a symposium “New Edo-Tokyo Research: Relativizing Modernity for Redefining the Future of Cities” on 25th February 2018.
It is a memorial symposium for the stablishment of the EToS, an interdiciprinary institute of humanities and sciences, and we will examine uniquness of Edo-Tokyo and advance a figure of a "near-future city" from Japan.
